CNUK Medtech Solutions is looking forward to welcoming innovators, government officials, industry partners and potential investors to the official launch of our new office in Nanjing this month.
To mark the opening, we will be hosting an international summit on innovative medical technology exchange on Wednesday 26 June 2019.
The summit takes place during Nanjing Tech Week: a high-profile event supported by the Nanjing Municipal Government – and attended by Chinese Prime Minister Mr Li Ke Qiang and Singaporean Prime Minister Mr Le Hsien Loong – for innovators to exchange groundbreaking ideas and showcase cutting-edge technologies.
We have been invited to attend Nanjing Tech Week as guests of the Nanjing Municipal Government and will host the ‘International Summit on Innovative Medical Technology Exchange’ from our new intellectual property trading office and demonstration space.
Guests invited to join the Summit include members of the Department for International Trade of the British Consul General in Shanghai and representatives from the Jiangsu (provincial), Nanjing (municipal) and Xuanwu (district) governments.
Representatives from UK companies in the healthcare industry – including medical innovators ClearSky Medical Diagnostics, RD Biomed, Veraz, Tranquality and Aelius Biotech – will introduce and showcase their advanced technologies and innovations to representatives from the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, investment firms, local distributors and Chinese universities.
Our official CNUK office opening event will feature speeches on UK-China cooperation by James McGuire, Assistant Director at the UK Department for International Trade Shanghai, and the partnership opportunities to commercialise novel NHS medtech solutions by Professor Michael Smith of the UK healthcare innovation hub, Medipex.
We will introduce our new CNUK Fund delivering managed investment opportunities to develop UK early stage innovative med tech products and support their commercialisation in China.
Later, at an evening cocktail event, the CNUK team will also co-host the ‘Challenges and Opportunities for AI and Healthcare in China’ discussion panel with Nanjing Healthcare Drinks, the UK Department of Trade and MyBioGate.
